As the former owner of the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Beverly Hills, California, and now as the owner of Healing Touch Massage Therapy in Fountain Hills. Arizona, Cris Cotone is a master in integrating a variety of healing systems which best serve the needs of people in making physical changes in their bodies and in their lives.
Cris has studied the various writings and practices of leading practitioners in the field of bodywork. Among those have been the work of Wilhelm Reich, Ida Rolf, Moshe Feldenkrais and Ken Dychtwald. After 23 years of applied practice and observation, Cris has become an expert in her work in the areas of Body Psychology,Pattern Release and Therapeutic Touch. Hundreds of people have found their lives changed by studying and working with Cris in one or more of these areas. As Cris declared in a recent interview:
"The greatest sense of accomplishment I have is when I see others applying the knowledge given and making wonderful positive changes in their personal lives."
Cris has also worked both as a physical therapist and trained other physical therapists for five years while in California. And starting in 1992, Cris was listed for four years in Who's Who of American Inventor's for inventing the most innovative, state-of-the-art back massager designed to relieve sciatica and neck pain.
Cris has written the book, Interpreting Body Psychology. In this book, she shares with the reader information on what is happening within the human structure and how to create new physical and emotional changes. Cris is currently writing a follow-up book called, Body Psychology: How the Subconscious Mind Can Be Revealed. In addition to her writing and practice, Cris is a frequent guest on radio and television.
